This is so very pretty IRL. Like super pretty. Like driving along and you cant help look at your nails in the sun pretty.
The polish is Gellie Beans Emerald City with CND Additives Midnight Tide brushed from the ends towards my cuticles. Honestly could ombre be any easier? I dont know how people can do it with normal polish and get it to be even and blended well!

2014 Catch Up Post Four
You know how sometimes you try something you half saw on Pinterest or somewhere but you cant quite place it and it works and for the life of you there is no recollection of where you saw it but its so awesome you want to remember? Anyway some of these are that. If the sentence above was to make any sense at all which it doesnt.

Challenge No 28 - Inspired by A FLAG

Swatches Part Two
I have been busy busy busy making up my wee reference swatches. I painted them all half black and half white then did the additives/stamping over that so I can see which ones are completely opaque and which arent. Should mean I dont get so many surprises when I'm doing my nails :)
All my stamping polishes.
These are a Gel Polish I bought on ebay. You paint the base color, then the top color and then use the gel they provide and dot it over the top. It then spreads out and give this snake skin like look. Pretty cool I reckon :)
This is all of the additives I have in my kit. CND are the proper additives but I also use some mineral eyeshadows I bought on Etsy. Spectrum and Smash being the two shops I bought from.
Pretty cool hey :)

Swatches Part One
These are the swatches I have done so I could see how the CND Additives and the eye shadows cover over white/black polish and the colors once cured. Some are seriously Opaque over even black and some are more of a shimmer to put over a flat polish base. I find that using the additives gives me the best gradient with a gel polish as the gel is self leveling and doesn't sponge well I use these instead. These swatches are just the beginning, I have around 20 more colors to swatch and will add them as I do them.

Blue and Whites
I was asked by one of my very best friends to do her nails for her upcoming wedding!!! So I have done this nail wheel so she can see what she likes and doesn't like and choose what she wants for the big day! They arent the neatest nails I have done. Not sure why but I really struggle working on nail wheels. My Favorite is number 14 with a number 17 accent nail and maybe a number 8 on Toes :)

Challenge No 21 - Inspired by A COLOR
Challenge No 21 Inspired by a Color was so far the easiest one for me to decide what to do with.
RED. My most favorite color in the whole world. Looks amazing on anyone's nails and just makes me happy to look at.

For this nail I actually started with a practice nail to make sure that the CND Additive in Pink would show up enough.
I used Shellac Hollywood as my base color and then dabbed an ombre gradient in two of the CND Additives. I then stamped onto 3 of my nails with BM-305 and left the other two with the gradient. Top coat and done.

Challenge No 18/19 - Half Moons/Galaxy
Today I have combined two of my challenges! The Half Moon Challenge I took literally :) So you will see my feature nails have Half Moons on them :) Then I did a galaxy background and galaxy nails on my other fingers. Not bad for my first attempt. I will be doing these again for sure!!!
