Lillies for a Lady

Ok so I am so clearly NOT a ladylike person at all. I swear like a sailor and I have a mean mean temper. I have got the shits on with working so badly I am totally scaring people. I got walked home simply because they needed to get me out of the office before I killed someone. Admittedly that someone was a stupid ass but murderers aren't allowed to paint their nails so probably not the best decision :)

Anyway in a bid to become slightly more ladylike and less of a murdering cow I decided that this lilly design from the Bundle Monster plates was a good start. Now I can just stare at my pretty nails and picture them wrapped around someones neck instead of just plotting with bad nails :)

This is Gelish Tiger Blossom and its lovely.

Challenge No 26 - Inspired by A PATTERN

Today I am inspired by a pattern. Seriously what pattern is better known than Paisley Print!! It comes in every single color and shape known to mankind!!! I decided to do another ombre nail underneath. This is Shellac Hollywood with Spectrum Lenore Brushed on. I then stamped over it with one of the Bundle Monster plates in Konad Silver.

Challenge No 23 - Inspired by A MOVIE

Wow these challenges are getting really hard. I actually just did this mani because I liked the colors and patterns in my head and then  matched them to a movie. Technically cheating I know but DAMN!!! I used stamping plates BM-215 and BM 208 and stamped with Konad Black. The red base is Shellac Wildfire with Ruby Ritz on top. The foil is just a random shattered effect silver with Shellac Silver Chrome underneath.

This is one of my FAVOURITE manicures EVER! I am absolutely in love and cannot stop staring at my nails!!! Hope you like them too :)

I decided to do this as a kitchen sink mani, I have a tie dye nail with foils, a blue and yellow leopard print konad stamped nail, a green and pink polka dot (bikini girl) nail, an afro nail and a box head nail :) TOOK AGES and only one hand ended up being good and then my camera battery was flat so we have iphone photos. And then my watermarking app has updated and is shite!
HAPPY FRIGGEN VALENTINES!!!

Challenge No 21 - Inspired by A COLOR

Challenge No 21 Inspired by a Color was so far the easiest one for me to decide what to do with.
RED. My most favorite color in the whole world. Looks amazing on anyone's nails and just makes me happy to look at.

For this nail I actually started with a practice nail to make sure that the CND Additive in Pink would show up enough.

I used Shellac Hollywood as my base color and then dabbed an ombre gradient in two of the CND Additives. I then stamped onto 3 of my nails with BM-305 and left the other two with the gradient. Top coat and done.

What do you think? Do you like the designs? Have any suggestions?

Challenge No 17 - Glitter

Today we are up to Challenge No 17 :)
I decided I wanted a simple design. Some glitter nails are just whacked out and I'm not really in a whacked out Sparklie mood at the moment.

This is Gelish Midnight Caller with a strip of Silver Glitter pushed into it and then Konad Black Stamping Polish stamped with Plate BM - 206. I really really like this pattern and it fits well with the black and glitter.

Challenge 11 - Polka Dots

I was really not looking forward to this challenge. I absolutely love polka dots but am usually terrible at them! First with this I painted the nails with Gelish Red Roses then top coated to make sure the red didn't leech into the white. Then I "tried" to stamp them with one the random stamping plates I have. Well that didn't work! Smudged all the hell and just would not stick properly. Think it may have been the Gelish Top Coat but could have been me being a spaz. SO then I had to do the dots all by hand with a dotting tool. I honestly cannot work out why I have had so many issues with polka dots in the past. It was easy as!!!! The dots are in the White Konad Special Polish as it has the best pigments and dries nicely. Another top coat and a wee diamante just cause I can and done!

Challenge No 5 - Blue Nails

Today is Blue Nail Challenge Day! I have just recently gotten into stamping and am slowly getting better and better. This is one of my new favorite plates as it just really has a good selection of patterns and they are cool interesting ones.                Anyway I associate blue with water so I chose this design and as I only have two Konad colors (soon to be rectified as I went NUTS on ebay) I decided to do a nice light blue and white stamp. I used Shellac Creme Puff then pressed in this amazing light blue eyeshadow and a little bit of a peacock colored one just to make it pop. I then stamped directly onto that and did my top coat. Nice and easy and it really looked so nice.

Challenge No 4 - Green Nails

Today I decided to go for the green :)
This is Gelish Coco Cabana Banana on Gelish base coat. I then left on the tacky layer and started to play with my eyeshadow pots. This has a metallic yellow, metallic orange and an amazing peacock green all layered on the nails. In true light the green really shows up. Its all intermingled with the yellow and orange but the pictures just arent showing it.
I then used my Konad Black Special Polish to stamp on the Koi Fish design from Plate A48.
Gelish top coat and done.
