This is so very pretty IRL. Like super pretty. Like driving along and you cant help look at your nails in the sun pretty.
The polish is Gellie Beans Emerald City with CND Additives Midnight Tide brushed from the ends towards my cuticles. Honestly could ombre be any easier? I dont know how people can do it with normal polish and get it to be even and blended well!

Gellie Beans Burnt Meringue with CND Gilded Gleam brushed over a piece of netting. The Additives stick right to the tacky layer so if you dont like the way it comes out simply wipe off with alcohol, apply a thin layer of either the color or top coat, cure and go again.

This is LeChat Black Velvet, THE best black gel I have found! So So good. No pullback, two coats to opaque, perfect. This is a hand painted swirly design I did over the top of the matte top coat. Looks so much better in person :)

2014 Catch Up Post Two

Hello!!!

So this is continuing on with 2014 nails. By now you will have noticed that I am getting into Stamping in a BIG way. So very cool and so very very pretty!!!

Shellac Serene Green stamped with Pueen plate 26

Shellac Cerulean Sea with Bundle Monster Stamping. Done as a decal transfer so I stamped it onto the stamper and then colored the triangles in and then painted a coat of clear and peeled off and applied to the tacky layer of the Shellac. Top coated and DONE. Its the only way to use opaque colors and keep those clean lines!!! Thanks Pinterest for another amazing idea!!!

This is part of my ANM Christmas submissions :) We had to make a Christmas Tree design. Im not a huge Christmas Tree girl so I just did the branch draping across a feature nail. I saw something similar on Pinterest but it wasnt watermarked and didnt link to anywhere so whoever you are AWESOME IDEA :)

Bigger Dots Dots and More Dots

I am getting my hair done on Friday by the EXCEEDINGLY amazing Cyndi! To get myself ready I did my nails in the same color I am getting my hair done :)

I decided to do my hair with Purple roots and red tips. But I didnt feel like doing a gradient. So I saw a similar dotted mani on @heynicenails and decided to do that instead!

I am just really not that much of an animal print person. I like it. I think it looks amazing on other people but I dont think it suits me. I was on Pinterest the other day (BANE OF MY LIFE) and I saw a photo pinned from Tegan Jean ( http://instagram.com/Tegan_jean# ) and she does her animal prints with all different colors so they become more like a design than me walking around shoving my nails in everyones face and growling at them like a demented cat. So I gave them a go.

This is another new brand of gel polish I have come across (OzSale for like $8!). For that price I wasnt expecting a miracle BUT the teal is ONE COAT!!! Stuff is like magic! And it lasts really well and applies cleanly! The only thing I didnt like is that is its such a small bottle (3.7ml vs the 15ml Gelish and 7.3ml Shellac) the brush is small too. But you get used to it.

The silver is my Orly Gel FX Shine and the black is Shellac Black Pool. Just grab a dotting tool and go to town. Note for anyone doing this with Gel. Make sure you cure the color dot before you put the back around the edges.
